Ok!! Let’s talk about paws! Tootsies! Feetsies and pads too!!
Does your pup have Grinch feet??
Four fluffy…mud grabbing, snowball collecting, floor slipping hooves??
It doesn’t have to be that way.
Getting their feet trimmed regularly will cut down on all the annoyances listed above…BUT…there’s more!!
Keeping a tight, clean foot will help your pups paws stay healthy too. Trimming can help avoid burrs and stickers getting stuckers. It also helps keep the snowballs from forming.
However I always leave a nice natural amount in the pads to protect from cold ground and ice as well. That’s what the fur is there for but why not get it under control?!?!
I’m not leaving out the less furred paws either. They need a little extra protection too! If you’re not into putting boots on your babies….Make sure to pay attention to cold weather and ice. It can burn those pads and be as painful as walking on hot pavement!!

Starting next week I will be offering pad protection in the way of a lovely handmade paw balm.
It not only smells lovely but it’s lickable too!
(For dogs.. I don’t encourage licking your dogs pads.)
All natural, protects from the elements and soothes and softens dry cracked paws.
Call me for a footie clean up or some!
